By creating a patented volumetric swath, the Echoscope^® is uniquely able to visualize underwater operations instantly, without any post processing.

Real-time monitoring provides a number of benefits to placement and landing projects, allowing offshore contractors to place subsea structures, such as manifolds or Christmas trees, more accurately on the seabed because the site can be “seen” during the placement operation. The Echoscope is able to visualize the placement live, in 3D, and in zero visibility water conditions. This innovative real-time 3D sonar can operate from both static and moving vessels, allowing the user to hover over the landing zone as placement is made.

In addition to monitoring underwater operations live, this integrated solution also produces real-time 3D mosaics to deliver survey grade bathymetric data during the operation or as part of a pre- or post-lay survey. The high-resolution imaging gives the operator more detail and more confidence that there are no impeding hazardous subsea objects, and the proof that the task was executed correctly the first time.
