Rapid Ship Hull Scanning and Inspection
Identifying hauls of contraband from mule ships or foreign objects on larger vessels is a critical role of port authorities and law enforcement around the world. Either active or passive scanning is now possible either using AUVs equipped with our Echoscope® real-time 3D volumetric sonar to scan the hull and anything that may be being towed subsea or by mounting an array of real-time 3D Echoscope sensors on the sea bed to scan passing shipping vessels.
